Zéle is a cannabis soda pop production facility for cannabis infused craft beverages. This 10,000sqft combined office and production facility including offices, boardrooms, an airlock space, clean rooms, a ethanol extraction room, a formulation room, a Decarb Oxylation room, refrigerated storage rooms and an automated beverage production line. The scope of work also included furniture selection and procurement for the offices and boardroom. Due to the storage of high-hazard materials including ethanol, the building required a F1 occupancy classification and had to be designed to stringent building and fire code regulations around explosion prevention. Since the product contained cannabis, our team worked to adhere to new AGLC and Federal Cannabis Regulations and incorporate all applicable Standards and Guidelines into our design. This client required the consultant team to obtain a high level of security clearance.
