L7 recently achieved historical designation for the Stovel Block in downtown Edmonton. Interior tenant improvements are provided for main floor commercial tenants, while renovated suites are provided for residents above. Main floor storefronts, the feature brick parapet and detailed cornices will be re-created and restored to the original building’s aesthetic in addition to brick repairs and restoration. An opening in the North facade creates an opportunity for additional glazing and a walk-up service window. This project relies heavily on community connections, pedestrian traffic and historical references while modernizing functions.
