Hightlights

This project features 28 mixed-income apartments with ground floor parking under a building cantilever. This project presented several challenges in the introduction of parking on a tight site and limited budget. L7 Architecture Inc. provided the innovative idea of raising the housing structure to provide ground level parking under the building. A costly underground parking structure was avoided. The budget was maintained due to early collaboration and simple construction methods. Working together as a collaborative team, we were able to achieve our client’s vision while exceeding their expectations.

The building follows passive design strategies which positively impacted the operational cost of the building. The affordable housing design created a safe place for families with a dignified and strong aesthetic.

L7 has completed 12 years of projects for Civida (Capital Region Housing Corporation).
