THE BASICS

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Spending time with my dog, whether outdoors exploring or relaxing at home. I also enjoy coffee, reading, learning new languages and crafts, and dancing Bachata.

Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco. I’ve only recently moved to Canada.

Who or what inspired(s) you to pursue your profession?

I was six years old when I first said I wanted to become an architect. From an early age, I was fascinated by how space shapes human behavior and emotion, how light, color, and proportion influence the way we experience a place. I’ve always been curious about how buildings become more than structures, and how thoughtful design can make a house truly feel like home.

THE RANDOM

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m a native Arabic and French speaker (and Moroccan dialect), self-taught in English, and currently learning Japanese and Portuguese. I’m also a tattoo artist and have created original designs for over 50 clients, combining precision, creativity, and trust.

What are some causes you are passionate about?

I’m deeply committed to animal welfare. Volunteering at a shelter in Casablanca taught me the importance of care, advocacy, and showing up consistently for those who can’t speak for themselves.

What would be your personal motto?

“Tout vient à point à qui sait attendre”. Good things come to those who are patient and persistent. I believe consistent effort, resilience, and optimism shape opportunities. Moving to Canada independently reinforced that belief.

What is something you are looking forward to?

Becoming a registered Architect in Canada and continuing to grow within a professional and collaborative design environment.

What is on your bucket list?

My bucket list centers around travel, cultural discovery, and lifelong learning. I’m driven by curiosity and the desire to experience diverse ways of living and designing around the world.
