What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I’m happiest spending time with my family, hitting the gym, taking RPM classes, and enjoying outings with my husband.

Where did you grow up?

Interior of Minas Gerais, Brazil. Unfortunately I did not grow up in Rio de Janeiro.

Who or what inspired(s) you to pursue your profession?

My dad. Even though he wanted me to follow in his footsteps as a doctor, he instilled in me the value of striving to be my best professionally. I discovered my passion for architecture later in life while studying to become a doctor, and I instantly fell in love with it. Now, I can’t imagine doing anything else.

What are three words that best describe you?

Kind, determinate and passionate.

What is something you are looking forward to? 

I look forward to finally becoming a licensed architect in Canada.

What do you do for fun?

Travelling, going out to dance, partying and going to restaurants.

Who is your hero and why?

My dad is my hero. He single-handedly raised me while attending medical school. He continues to do everything for my happiness. In my eyes, he is the best dad in the world.

What is on your bucket list?

Designing my own house one day.
