Who We Are
L7 Architecture is an enthusiastic team of architects, designers, technologists and problem solvers. Our vast knowledge and experiences have created a foundation of flexibility and adaptation, critical for designing in our world.
Founded in 1982, L7 Architecture’s reputation for exceptional service stems from our proven capacity to navigate the complexities and challenges inherent in each commission. We recognize quality, functionality, schedule, budget and aesthetics are critical to every project.
L7 believes that the only way to solve current design problems is with imaginativeness, open communication, gained knowledge and collaboration. We implement these concepts in every project we design.
When Michael bought the firm from Robert, the team took it as an opportunity to acknowledge the past while also embracing a new future for the company. As a natural progression, we decided to rebrand and rename. We wanted our new name to be reflective of our thinking.
L7 was inspired by John Ruskin’s The Seven Lamps of Architecture, a book that all architects cross paths with in their career. The book denotes beauty, truth, sacrifice, power, life, obedience and memory as the 7 fundamentals that he considered inseparable from architecture. At L7, we have modernized these attributes to reflect our approach in the forever changing world in which we live, engage and connect.
